Why we're building this
We're parents to a six-year-old who is bright, curious and learns in their own way. School does what it can, but in a busy classroom one child can only get so much individual attention. We wanted something to do at home that adds to what school provides.
We found plenty of tools aimed at a label, and very few built around the child in front of us. So we're building Yellow Hedgehogs, what we wanted for our own family: short, calm activities that build real skills, and clear updates that tell parents what's working.
We're parents first, not experts, so we're building this with educational psychologists, teachers and neurodivergent advisers.

Questions parents ask
Do we need a diagnosis?
No. Yellow Hedgehogs is built around skills, not labels.
Is this a replacement for school support or therapy?
No. It supplements school and professional support. It isn't therapy or medical advice.
How long each day?
About 10 minutes.
How do you look after my child's data?
We never ask for information about your child. We're building to meet UK GDPR and the ICO Children's Code, and will never sell children's data.
Who is behind Yellow Hedgehogs?
A small team of parents, working with educational psychologists, teachers and neurodivergent advisers. (Founder details to be completed.)
How much will it cost?
Plans start at £14.99 a month for one child, or £119 a year. Families who join the waitlist early get a founding member rate of £9.99 a month for their first year. A second child is an extra £5 a month.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can try everything free for 14 days before you choose a plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel whenever you like and there are no long contracts.
Why is it priced like this?
We want it to be affordable for families, and far less than regular one-to-one tutoring, while paying for the specialist input that goes into every activity.
